LAFIA turns written laboratory values into an easier-to-read educational explanation. It helps you prepare for a conversation with a qualified healthcare professional; it does not replace one.

Supported reports

PDF, JPG, and PNG laboratory-results documents up to 10 MB. PDFs can contain up to 30 pages. LAFIA reads written values, reference ranges, units, and findings—not X-rays, CT or MRI scans, ultrasound images, or ECG tracings.

Languages

Choose English, Arabic, Turkish, Italian, Spanish, Polish, French, or German. Auto-detect may preserve additional report languages where supported.

Limited preview and full interpretation

A limited preview may show aggregate counts and up to two detected non-normal flags before payment. Payment unlocks the complete value-by-value interpretation, educational follow-up information, and downloadable PDF.

Privacy and methodology

Uploaded files may contain sensitive health information. LAFIA stores the file, extracted text, report status, and generated report data to deliver the service. OCR extracts written content; the system organizes detected values and generates plain-language explanations. Output can be incomplete or inaccurate.

Professional review remains essential

Laboratory results must be interpreted in the context of symptoms, history, medications, age, pregnancy status, examination, specimen quality, and the laboratory’s own reference intervals. LAFIA output is educational only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
